Blackbrook Business Park

Taunton Vale Business Park

A 2.5 hectare site, located just 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M5. This new, flat employment site is currently being actively marketed and is on the southern edge of the Monkton Heathfield new Garden Town community.

Wellington Strategic Employment Site

A site of 8.67 hectares at Chelston is allocated for employment purposes. Subdivision of the site for more than one single use occupier will not be accepted.

Wansbrough Paper Mill

Outline planning application for consideration with potential for approx 5,000sqm of space to come forward for industrial use within a mixed-use scheme at the former Wansbrough Paper Mill site in Watchet.

Parsonage Farm, Watchet

Site allocation within West Somerset Local Plan Policy WA2 for mixed use but non residential.

North and West of Williton

Mixed use including approx. 3ha appropriate and compatible, non-residential uses at the farm building complex. Outline application under consideration. Proposal is for residential plus approximately 1,000sqm of flexible uses limited to offices, R&D and light industrial.

Wiveliscombe Business Park

A 4.5 hectare, flat site available for investment and development.


This is Taunton’s flagship 8 hectare development scheme, in the vicinity of the former Livestock market. The proposed master plan, for the mixed-use scheme, includes an innovation centre, landmark boulevard with water gardens, an amphitheatre and dedicated cycle and pedestrian access in a high-quality environment.

The site is well located within 10 minutes of Junction 25 of the M5 and within walking distance of Taunton railway station. Somerset West and Taunton Council is currently undertaking a programme of consultation, regarding the plans.
